U.S. Senate candidate Jason Bollinger to speak Feb. 14 to Canadian County Democrats
YUKON, Okla. – Jason Bollinger, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, will speak to the Canadian County Democrats on Monday, February 14. The public is invited to attend.
The Democrats’ meeting will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. in the training room at the Yukon Police Department, 100 S. Ranchwood Boulevard.
Participants may also join the meeting on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5515451639 or phone in at 346-248-7799. The meeting ID is 551 545 1639.
“Currently we have a senator who caters to out-of-state corporate donors and plays partisan games,” Bollinger said. “We need a fresh generation of leaders who will focus on fixing our country and meeting the needs of working families and people.
“It is past time to prioritize affordable, quality healthcare, infrastructure improvements, public education, national security and reforming our immigration system,” Bollinger added. “These tasks, and many more, are on my agenda as Oklahoma’s next Senator.”
While serving at the U.S. Department of State, Bollinger previously worked with the top levels of government in Washington, DC and represented the US in a dispute against one of the country’s greatest adversaries.
Today, he is a successful attorney and owns a private law practice in downtown Oklahoma City.
Bollinger graduated from Merritt High School in Elk City, earned an associate’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Sayre, and then a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a law degree from the University of Oklahoma.
“Jason Bollinger was born and raised in rural western Oklahoma where he learned the values important to us,” Canadian County Democrats Secretary Shirley Burton said. “Our current senator is a Washington, DC politician, but Jason grew up in rural Oklahoma, went to college and law school in Oklahoma, and built his career in Oklahoma City where he currently lives.”
The Canadian County Democrats regularly meet at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of each month, except December, at the Yukon Police Department. The meetings are also live streamed on Zoom and Facebook @canadiancodems.org. For more information, email chair@canadiancodems.org or phone 405-326-3600.
