High School Democrats of Oklahoma chair invites teens, young adults to April 9 meeting
YUKON, Okla. – Teens and young adults are encouraged to join Annamarie Cuccia, chair of High School Democrats of Oklahoma, when she speaks to the Canadian County Democrats on Monday, April 9.
Seating is first come, first served for the free meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Yukon Police Department, 100 S. Ranchwood.
Cuccia sits on the Young Democrats of Oklahoma executive board, runs the Young Democratic Club at Norman High School and is a political director for Young Democrats of America High School on the national level.
She plans to focus on Young Democrats’ recent accomplishments, their upcoming conference.
“I’d also like time for input from you on how to get more young people involved in Canadian County,” Cuccia said.
Cuccia has lived in Norman her whole life and became inspired by the activism around her to get involved in politics.
She has been a member of Young Democrats and speech and drama for four years.
Canadian County Democrats regularly meet on the second Monday of each month (except December) at the Yukon Police Department at 100 S. Ranchwood Boulevard.
