Troy Green is a small business owner, security specialist, husband of a nurse and proud father of a U.S. Marine.

He is running for the U.S. Senate because he believes “Oklahoma deserves a leader who knows what it means to struggle, who understands the value of hard work and who will never stop fighting for better schools, safer communities and a government that works for everyone.

“I wasn’t born into privilege, and I don’t answer to special interests,” Green said. “I’m running because I know the struggles of working families, and I’ll never stop fighting for them. Just like my own life, this campaign is ‘Built, Not Bought.’”

Green served 30 years in law enforcement, juvenile detention and private security, gaining firsthand experience with public safety, justice and the challenges ordinary Oklahomans face every day.

He also earned multiple black belts and taught martial arts for more than 30 years, creating a safe space for at-risk youth, abuse survivors and Oklahomans searching for discipline, confidence and growth.

In 2022, he retired from teaching full-time and founded Safe Haven Oklahoma, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting human trafficking and child exploitation.

According to Green’s website at https://www.troygreenforsenate.com, “Though his childhood was marked by hardship, foster care, poverty and homelessness, he never gave up. Instead, he turned struggle into service and pain into purpose. His life is proof that grit and determination can overcome the toughest obstacles.”

Troy Green earned a bachelor’s of arts in history with minors in English and philosophy. H is currently pursuing a master’s degree in criminal justice at the University of Oklahoma.
