YUKON, Okla. –Democratic candidates will share the floor at the Canadian County Democrats ‘July 9th meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Yukon Police Department, 100 S. Ranchwood.

Organizers have planned time for audience questions after the candidates’ short presentations.

“We had a really fun meeting in June with 11 Democratic candidates who came from across the state to speak in Canadian County,” Chair Jody Harlan said. “We were surprised by the awesome turnout and had already scheduled a regular speaker last month, which limited the candidates’ time.

“Our members and friends asked for more, so we have invited all the Democratic candidates who will be on the ballot in 2018 to return July 9th with an opportunity for audience questions,” she said.

The Canadian County Democrats’ meetings are regularly held on the second Monday of each month (except December) at the Yukon Police Department training room, 100 S. Ranchwood.
